NOTICE – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Jackson shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Town Hall on Route 22 on Proposed Local Law #2 of 2025. The purpose of this Local Law #2 shall be to prohibit the installation, construction and/or development of commercial battery energy storage systems within the Town of Jackson. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of, or against Local Law #2 of 2025.

NOTICE – PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the undersigned Collector of Taxes for the Town of Jackson, County of Washington and State of New York, has duly received the tax roll and warrant for collection of taxes within the Town of Jackson for the year 2025 and that I will attend the named place in said Town for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on the said roll:

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes shall be received without interest or penalty during the month of January if clearly postmarked by January 31st, 2025. Taxes paid by payment processing companies (online payments) must arrive on or before January 31, 2025 to be considered on time as there is no postmark.
The Tax Collector will be open on Friday, January 31st, 2025 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am to collect taxes in person for the last day to pay without penalty. On all taxes remaining unpaid by February 1, 2025 an additional one percent per month will be added until the return on unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer.
